WE ARE HIRING FOR A PYTHON DEVELOPER.

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our IT team. The Python Developer will build functional and efficient software applications with a heavy reliance on automation. The ultimate goal being to create high-quality pieces of software that meet the needs of the business. Also managing and delivering projects to agreed timescales.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and willing to learn. It is essential to be a good team player and communicator. The role will suit someone with good organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.  

The role requires the following experience:

• Experience of Python & Associated Libraries
• Proficiency with Pandas library
• Knowledge of SQL Databases and structure
• Experienced with NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)
• Working Knowledge of GIT
• Clean coding practices e.g. Unit Tests, Type hints

And the following experience is desirable:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Linux
• Knowledge of Selenium requests and libraries

Key duties:

• Utilising multiple Python libraries to enable process automation within the wider processes of the business
• Manipulating data sets using Microsoft Excel
• Liaising with the internal teams when working on automation and data projects
• Meeting development deadlines and liaising with management on any delays or issues
• Working alongside the other members of the IT Team to ensure deadlines are achieved
• Ensure development code is adequately documented and unit tests are provided
• Work with members outside of IT to identify problems, propose solutions, develop proof of concepts through to full implementation within the production environment
• Identify and design programs which innovate business practices.
• Manage the full development life cycle of projects

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 PA depending on experience.
Working Hours: 37.5 per week - M-T 8.30am-5.30pm (45 min lunch) and F 8.30am-1.00pm (Alternative flexible working patterns available).
